Overall good product, but the light periodically flickers. If you turn on/off, it usually resolves the problem. Also, the protective packaging inside the box is very cheap styrofoam that crumbles which made for messy cleanup after assembling.

Good experience from the time we ordered the lamp until we received it; very easy to assemble; perfect lighting for our living room. Love the brushed look, which we are always trying to find. Plan to purchase an additional floor lamp, or table lamp to match, early in 2013. Hope you keep carrying them (these particular lamps).

We are using two of these in our living room, which has extremely limited lighting (i.e., no ceiling lights). These take up a much smaller footprint, and are more stable, than some of the more sculptural lights I've seen. Easy to assemble (I did so by myself when I was literally 40 weeks pregnant in about 5 minutes), very clean-looking. All in all, very pleased with the purchase. Would be nice if there were different choices of lampshade colors though.

Perfect lamp for my living room next to my mid century sofa. Not exactly a reading lamp, but it can (and is) read by. I needed the look and the light and this fits the bill perfectly.

The lamp is a great purchase. Economical, stylish in a minimalist way and functional. I use it in my living room. It's next to my reading chair and works perfectly there. The bulb that came with it was broken and when I reported this to customer service, my charge card was credited for the value of the bulb.
