While attractive, the base wobbles on the planter - a huge downside in a home with children. Additionally, the stain from the base left a matching ring on our brand new finished oak floor after sitting on it for only a couple of days (no water or any other contributing factors).

This planter is expensive, but worth it because it is high quality ceramic with a rich charcoal finish. It looks great with natural steel and charcoal stained maple furniture. The walnut base lends an interesting contrast and lifts the planter just the right amount from the ground.
