Customer comments about Moda Crib Bed:
Great bed that functioned so well for my son - baby to toddler - that I passed it on to my sister and her soon to be born baby boy.
Service and delivery comments:
The service from R and B is exceptional. That is why I buy a lot of my furniture from them. They stand by what they sell.

Customer comments about Moda Crib Bed:
My 4.5 year old is STILL using this crib thanks to the additional toddler rail we purchased. We love it! I will be a little sad when it's time to switch to a big-girl bed, but MODA twin in at the top of our list. The crib is safe, durable, and gorgeous. After all this time, it looks perfect!

Customer comments about Moda Crib Bed:
This would seem to be the ideal crib for mod parents who want to inculcate their children with mid-century modern style. It looks particularly great with an Eames style mobile hanging overhead. Other positives include durability -- we can't scratch it for the life us us, even after banging the mattress platform into the lacquered walls while lowering the mattress -- and comfort. Our baby slept through the night almost immediately!

Customer comments about Moda Crib Bed:
I keep my 11-month old in this crib, and there are big brown spots of wood on the top of the crib where he bites at it (when he is supposed to be sleeping :), we are going to have to get another crib because the wood is exposed where the white fiberboard should be. It's a shame the exterior couldn't have been made of a more durable material. I would never recommend this crib, but I will say that the design is very sleek and looks great.

Customer comments about Moda Crib Bed:
beautiful crib - very sturdy and versatile with decor. this was pre-assembled when delivered and looked perfect. does not scratch easily - no problems yet with the finish. the only issue i had was that the crib in white and mocha smelled for a couple to a few weeks - will need time to air out.

Customer comments about Moda Crib Bed:
I loved this set from the minute I laid eyes on it. It's modern without looking spartan and is great for smaller spaces. The 1st crib we got was dis-assembled at the front door and re-assembled in the baby's room. [...] I became very concerned about the possiblity of our baby eating paint chips if she started teething on the laquered parts of the crib or scratched the laquer with toys. The finish on this furniture is obviously very sensitve. We returned the whole set (again, R&B was great about the return) and we bought a crib and dresser that did not have a laquered finish elsewhere. I think that the problem lies with the paint - maybe it's so eco-friendly that it doesn't have the requisite chemicals to make it bond well to the wood. It would be so much better if R&B just produced this set in a natural wood with stain options. Such a shame!

Customer comments about Moda Crib Bed:
This is a great modern crib if you can't afford Netto, which we really wanted. Love the style and the pieces look very modern and great. BUT scratch super easy, I mean you just walk by it quickly and there's a ding in the white finish. Very annoying, and they don't offer a touch up service or a paint for you to do it yourself (so it looks right).

Customer comments about Moda Crib Bed:
This crib is perfect! It was incredibly simple to put together-just few, easy steps! It feels so sturdy and the most common size of crib mattress fits perfectly with no extra room on the sides. It's great quality and the design just can't be beat. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a simple, modern crib!

Q:
Does the Moda Crib Bed come with a mattress? If not, what mattress is recommended by Room & Board?
Thank you,

A:
A crib mattress would be a separate purchase. We have two great Minnesota-made options, Innerspring and Natural Latex- both offer quality, comfort and support. Search 'crib mattress' to learn more.
