I absolutely Love this desk. I wanted to replace the large bankers desk I had in my home office. This desk is perfect. I bought the 2 pieces that fit perfectly in the space. The cherry wood is beautiful. I purchased a matching 3 drawer file cabinet that fits perfectly under one side of the desk. The space is great. I have room for 2 laptops and all my papers. I would recommend this desk to anyone who needs a desk for a small space.

Walnut looks great. However, the wooden top is inconsistently wider and narrower in places than the steel frame upon which it sits. An aesthetic matter but the premium price point warrants demand for something being in the variance of not easily noticeable to the casual eye.

My Portica L shaped desk has helped transform my crowed bedroom/home office into a comfortable functional attractive space. I ordered with a frosted glass top and in combination with the stainless steel legs, the desk is light and helps give the illusion of taking up less space and making the room appear more open than a heavier finish would. The L shape is perfect for my computer, phone, printer, lamp and writing area. With room to spare. Great purchase

I had just purchased the Copenhagen bedroom set in walnut with stainless steel, when my design associate suggested the Portica Desk with frosted glass. It looks perfect. Not too heavy and helps to open the whole room up. Delivery and assembly were as always, prompt, courteous and knowledgeable
