Customer comments about Eden 82" Convertible Sleeper Sofa:
only had it 6 wks, still quite firm to sit on. threw a comforter on the top for sleeping, which eased the firmness. it's a tight squeeze for 2 regular sized adults to share as a bed. purchased for the purpose of having a small sofa in a den that can be used occassionally for tv watching, and once in a while for overnight guests. it works very well for the purpose. it's well made and far more attractive than other cheaper options we looked at. the wood leg option looks mod, really nice.

Customer comments about Eden 82" Convertible Sleeper Sofa:
This is a very versatile, attractive and compact piece of furniture - perfect for where I'm using it, as a couch in a media room that doubles as a guest room.
For sleeping: Folded down, the surface is not very large (44" wide is between the standard 39" twin and 54" full) so it's really not suitable for 2 adults, but works great for 1.
For sitting: The cushions are very firm, so it's not super-comfortable to sit on for long periods of time on its own. We've mitigated that by using pillows and by using the seat in the reclined position.
Best feature: The three cushions can each be individually put into three positions - upright, reclined and down for sleeping. This gives a lot of options for how it looks (almost day bed / chaise-ish) as well as how it can be used (upright for reading, reclined for watching TV in the slouchy position, and sleeping of course).
I also like its legs, which make the sofa match our other mid-century modern pieces quite nicely; and its overall sturdiness (the underlying frame that connect to the legs looks like some form of powder coated metal).
Service and delivery comments:
As always, delivery was on time (love the 2 hour window and 15-20 minute pre-call) and careful (no dings in our doorway!).

Q:
Does this comfortably sleep two adults? Also, how eco-friendly is this couch?Asked on 5/22/2013 by Sophie1 answer
DESIGN ASSOCIATE
A:
The size of the Eden Convertible Sofa is between a Twin and a Full size bed so it would be a snug fit for two people. In regards to the eco-friendliness of the Eden, the cushion is made from 20% soy however it is one of the few items we import from China so it does have a larger carbon footprint.Answered on 5/22/2013 by Design Associate from Room & Board
