We waited over a year to purchase this table. It was, in theory, a big step up from our heavily-worn IKEA table. It looked great upon delivery and the delivery personnel were courteous and professional. But this table wobbles so very much, just from brushing by it/elbows on it, etc., that I hold my breath whenever we use it - it's embarrassing with guests and a pain for dining as we just wobble through our meal!

The maple butcher block top is sanded so smooth its perfect. The edges are smooth, and the wood is gorgeous. The pedastal base however is a little weak for the 48" table... Which is a shame because I love it. Customer service was extremely helpful in finding a suitable base. The smaller top would be more stable on the pedastal base.

Beautiful wood table. The sanding was so fine the maple is butter smooth. The base is beautiful but does not hold the weight without wobbling. I called customer service & was greeted with friendly, easy service. Exchanging the base with a different style is super easy. I would recommend a smaller table size for this base or for the 48" a different base.
Service and delivery comments:
The delivery personnel were always professional, & kept me in the loop during the shipment. The delivery drivers were clean, professional & arrived on time. I couldn't ask for more.

The aluminum base is too weak and the table top is constantly flexing when anyone puts their elbows on it. It feels very insecure and cheap because of this. It's the base design/style we really wanted, but are pretty disappointed and have considered returning it.

The design is great. The table is stable. The size is perfect for small area.
The cherry top is made of mismatched pieces which is not pleasing to the eye. The pieces making up the top should have been matched.

This is my best investment yet in my apartment. I bought this in the white mdf material, along with the jake chairs in white. The service was excellent, timely, and the delivery men were careful with everything. I have had this table for six months now, and still looks brand new, so I would have to say the quality is upholding. Buy this table!

The Aria does not have an extension table option.
