Hand-selected for the best quality and color, our Brazilian cowhide rugs add one-of-a-kind design to your room. Unlike many other hides, ours are heavy enough to lay flat without curling edges, and each is finished with high-quality tanning methods to give every hide a clean and soft feel. Natural hide rugs are remarkably resistant to stains and work well in high-traffic areas.

Q:How do you care for this? i dont see anywhere on this page that gives that information, not even under care.Asked on 12/30/2013 by Liz
A:Vacuuming with a medium height setting on the brush and, if possible, an occasional shaking to remove dust will maintain the natural characteristics of this product. Liquid substances will rarely penetrate the hide. Instead, most spills float above the hair long enough to be easily wiped with a moist sponge. With substantial foot traffic, some areas may thin over time and rotating the rug is recommended.Answered on 12/30/2013 by Design Associate from Room & Board
Q:does this cow hide rug require a rug pad and I've read on other "hide" rugs that some dyes transfer on to the floor. Could this be an issue?Asked on 10/17/2013 by NYCGuy from New York, NY
A:We do recommend using rug pads with all of our rugs, including Cowhide. The Cowhide rugs are all free of dyes. If you have additional questions, please contact our Design Associates at 800-301-9720.Answered on 10/18/2013 by Design Associate from Room & Board
