Customer comments about Wall Hooks, Set of Three:
The hook and wall anchor that came with it are falling out of the wall. Before purchasing, I emailed customer service asking the weight limit of the hook and length of mounting hardware. I was told one hook would hold 35 lbs and would reach a stud. I had my doubts when it arrived but installed it anyway. Within days my son's coat had made it come loose and when I tried to unscrew the hook the entire wall anchor came out of the wall. The mounting hardware didn't reach a stud, and the hook came nowhere near holding 35 lbs.

Customer comments about Wall Hooks, Set of Two:
These are solidly constructed and the color looks great. Unfortunately, I had a very hard time installing these with the hardware and instructions provided. Because you're required to use a specialized screw and it's not terribly long, I couldn't even use my own anchor. In the end, I exchanged these for the single hook, which worked out wonderfully.

Q:Can these hooks be screwed into a stud (how long is the screw)? What is the weight limit in pounds of one hook? Thank you!Asked on 1/12/2014 by tulpen
A:Because these Wall Hooks are expected to bear up to approximately 35 pounds each, the screws included are long enough to go solidly into a stud.Answered on 1/14/2014 by Design Associate from Room & Board
