Love the look and design of this table. We had to send the first one back upon delivery because there was a patch where the finish was different from the rest of the table. They delivery guys took it back and arranged to have a new table delivered the next week.

The table is easy to clean with a damp cloth. It does seem to chip a little easy. My son banged a coaster into the side and left a chip. Otherwise the finish has held up great after 3 weeks of use.

The table is drop dead gorgeous. The finish is PERFECTION. I can't attest to the durability because I've only had it two days, but I'm in love with it. It looks high end without being TOO fancy. I was nervous about the 84 inches, but I felt like the 96 was too big for the room. 84 turned out to be just right. I can comfortably seat 6, (I ordered the Jake chairs in white to go with the table.) I can seat in 8 if needed, and let's face it, more than that I'm staging a buffet anyway. I love the walnut. It has a beautiful tone and looks amazing with the white chairs. The whole set just pops. Thanks Room & Board!

Great table with excellent design and quality. The table is a bit pricier than I'd like to have paid. The legs are bolt-on rather than dove-tailed. Other than these small issues, the table really is wonderful. Customer service at R&B is out of this world. Upon receiving the table, I was unsure that I'd purchased the right wood (cherry) as it was a bit lighter than anticipated. I contacted customer service and discussed options if indeed I decided to exchange the table. I was told that if the finish was not to my liking, it could be exchanged at anytime for a different finish table. Any time. No additional shipping cost. Incredible. Thank you R&B.

The table is beautiful and fits my space perfectly. I have kids, though, and am concerned about it scratching. I tried rectangular tablecloths but they do not hang well off the elliptical shape of the tabletop. I looked into having a glass top cut for it, but due to the elliptical shape the glass has to be custom ordered and will be pricey. Otherwise, I am very pleased. It is sturdy and garners many compliments from visitors.

I wanted to find a timeless, yet modern table for my dining room. And this fit the bill perfectly. The 84" table fits six comfortably but we can definitely get eight around it. We paired the table with black Jake chairs on the sides and Jansen dining chairs at the ends. We have an open concept kitchen, dining, living room with a variety of woods. The walnut table fit in perfectly.

Finally - the customer service is fantastic. I received great ideas when I called to order. And the delivery guys were great, too.

I wanted this table long before it was created! This table is absolutely beautiful! I bought the cherry and am told it will darken a bit. I expect it will be even more beautiful. The design is one I have been waiting for a very long time. It is heavily influenced by mid-century modern, which in many cases is timeless in its appeal. I bought the 72" long table because it was the best fit for my space. I plan to hang a George Nelson "Saucer" pendant (circa 1950) over it for light. A perfect combination!

I was a bit frustrated trying to find a set of chairs for it. R&B doesn't sell sets. The chairs shown with it on their website were pricey and all wood, which didn't look very comfortable. After a month of searching I found the perfect chairs and they have not yet arrived. The back legs are approximately the same angle as the table legs, which I thought was important. I would say what they are here but R&B instructions say not to...

I have contacted the manufacturer and asked them for the name of a "citrus" cleaner, which is what they suggest using. They have not replied. Room and Board called and said just use a damp cloth, but I think there must be something better. I guess I'm on my own there.

Service and delivery comments:

They were right on time and very polite. They set it right where I asked them to in the dining area. It had a thin layer of slightly oily dust which I easily removed with a soft, damp cloth.

I spent a while looking for a dining room table for my early 1900s house with a very modern chandelier ... and love this table. I was worried it would take over the room, as I have the 82" and my room is 12 x 14, but even though it is a fairly large table it has a small footprint because it looks delicate (although is very sturdy for use). Have the walnut finish and it's beautiful. Paired it with the black Windsor chairs, to make it a little more traditional. Everyone likes it and asks me where I got it.
