The design was perfect for our space. Use it in the mudroom (with baskets) as a catch all for mail, charge cords, etc. First delivery was the wrong stain color. Second delivery right color but there were areas missng stain color. One drawer wouldn't close all the way. Even though the service person came out to corect these problems, you can still see where the stain was touched up. We expected better quality for the price.

There was an empty space in my living room where the cubby fits perfectly. I use the three cubbies for books and the drawers for various odds and ends I don't want to leave out. This is a beautiful piece of furniture and I'm so glad I purchased it.

Two of these stacked side by side work perfectly in my son's bedroom. Great storage for books, lego models and found treasure. The drawers are nice too for all the extra things boys collect.

I purchased this to use in a small loft space that we recently added to our home. I wanted something ample enough to provide a little storage and possibly function later as media storage, but without being too deep since the room is small (i.e. 9x10). I love the grey finish - so pretty and different from the rest of my dark wood everywhere else. This room will function as somewhat of a reading nook/tv room/play room for us, so this piece is perfect.

I love the Calvin Cubby! I purchased the one-drawer six-cubby storage in the maple grey, and I couldn't have been happier. It's very deep, so though I hadn't decided at the outset what I would keep in it, it's become ultra helpful in storing multiple layers of books (and then some more books on top of that!) It's sturdy and I feel very comfortable with the weight it is holding, and though it's deep and fits a lot, it doesn't make our apartment bedroom seem small. The one drawer is a good size, and I like that there's additional space underneath. We have this on our very dark hardwood floors, and the contrast is beautiful.

[...] the best communication I have ever had from any company. [...] Although this piece of furniture is shown online in a childs bedroom. we are using it in the study. It goes really well with other furniture in our house and we felt that if we ever moved it would be a versatile piece of furniture whether in the study or bedroom. It is a beautiful yet functional piece of furniture that we will have for many years. The whole shopping experience with Room and Board was fabulous and I know we will be shopping with them again and for many years to come.

This piece of furniture is the PERFECT item for our teenager's room. Big books tuck into the open shelves while paperbacks, mementos and collectibles stay accessible and dust free in the drawers. The best part is that the pet's tank is stylishly situated on top (but a TV would be great there, too)!

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was excellent. One item of a roomful of items had a cosmetic imperfection which the delivery man pointed out to me. The delivery person took the item with him and arranged for a replacement item. I didn't have to do a thing. Both gentlemen were courteous, careful and knowledgeable about the items and the delivery schedule.
