This product is made from re-claimed wood and I like the look that gives it. I saw it in person at a R&B store and the sales associate pointed this out to me so that I wouldn't be surprised if there were some minor "blemishes" in the one I ordered. But the finish is great and the wood more interesting than it would be otherwise.
