These chairs are superb! We bought them to create a small sitting area off to the side in a bigger room. They are definitely more comfortable than one might think. The best feature is that they can be easily moved to become part of the main seating area as needed - no heavy lifting!

We have this room in our living room where it goes really well with the adams media center and a couple of other maple/cherry pieces we've bought over the years. It's amazingly comfortable and at a good angle for reading. It was lower to the ground than I expected but that didn't matter once we got it in the room, it looked great. Well made, lovely cherry wood. Stands up well to 2 cats who like to experiment on new furniture with their claws.

We love this chair. It is a great modern twist on a classic design, so fits with many styles. And it is super confortable to boot.

First, this is a well made chair and the cherry wood is really attractive (not too dark). Second, we bought this as a secondary chair for a corner of the living room and ended up sitting in it as a favorite chair because it's so comfortable. I know, it's solid wood and no cushion but it's well designed and the back is just the right angle for reading, watching tv, or staring into space. No bad comment to share on this one. Buy it.

I use this chair in my sitting area in my 2 bedroom apartment in combination with other furniture. It looks great, and is so comfortable to sit in. It's unique and I hope will age well. The reason I gave this 4 stars is that for the cost, which is not insignificant, I felt the quality of construction was below expectation and a bit sub par. Wouldn't prevent me from purchasing a second, but at this price point, you want better.
