It is gorgeous and has beautiful variation in color where the natural color of the wool comes though. We purchased this rug for our bedroom and it is wonderfully soft underfoot. Perfect first thing in the morning.

That said, I would not recommend this rug for a high traffic area it is more delicate than a traditional pile, or flat woven rug. We haven't had it long but it does not shed too much, but it's in a low traffic area.

Beautiful rug for our great room and compliments everything else wonderfully. High quality and soft. The only negative is the shedding. Hopefully it will subside as time goes on.

The rug is the most beautiful color that seems to complement everything in the room. The solid color is the best. it expands the look of the room. It is in our family room with many other things and it creates space in the room.
Very serene.
I read reviews about the shedding but have not found it to be much of a problem. Regular vacuuming takes care of it.

This rug is beautiful and looks great in my bedroom. I have dark wood floors, a walnut dresser, and a plain bed with sea green bedding. I bought the rug in heather and put it at the end of the bed. It really makes the room look finished and it's very warm and soft to walk on. The only con I have is that it does shed. If I throw clothes on the rug, they will have hairs from the rug on them when I pick them up.

I am the king of bargain shopping. I have found beautiful, cut rate sofas, beds, designer chairs, art, electronics, and even pets. I have to admit that rugs beat me. In this category the adage holds true; you really do get what you pay for. This rug is now the third most expensive item in my house (right behind our computers), but it fits perfectly in the space, offering a cozy, understated accent that warms the room and makes our doggie very, very happy.

This rug is beautiful in the cement color. It does have a slight blue tint to it, depending on the lighting in your room.

Love the rug. It's warm, inviting and beautiful. It sheds a little (although no more than other natural rugs), so use vacuum sparingly. Looks beautiful but the Heather rug does not match the Townsend sofa in Linen. In broad daylight, the yellows in the Heather rug appear stronger, so be careful when you're matching color.

I love the Chain Rug in Heather. However, we bought it to match the Townsend sofa in Linen, as well as the lovely gray Zinc chairs and discovered that in our sunlight-filled home, the color of the rug clashed slightly with the Townsend sofa. However, we loved the rug so much we decided to keep it for use in our family room where it matches a darker, kelp-colored sofa. The heather rug has yellowish tones, which comes out in broad daylight, so be careful when selecting it to match your other furniture pieces. Of course, we viewed the rug next to the sofa at the Room & Board store, but the lighting was different in the store than at our home during the day. It is a luxurious, thick and warm rug, so I'm glad we decided to keep it.

Delivery was impeccable. The assistance in selecting pieces at the store was also amazing. The customer service keeps bringing me back. Also, if you need to return the rug, the charge is basically the standard shipping fee. Gives one peace of mind.
