We have this sofa in our family room and it gets lots of use from 2 kids, a grandfather and my husband who falls alseep each night watching TV. We love that the sofa cushions are firm and hold up to all the jumping, climbing (and sleeping) it gets. We chose this sofa because the shape lends itself to almost any interior style. We are planning on replacing our accent chairs, tables, etc. this year, and the sofa is a great basic to work around. The color is wonderful and provides a good neutral base to work off of. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the plush fabric shows where someone has been sitting once they get up. This is of course easily fixed by running your hand over the cushion. That is just the nature of some plush fabric, not a flaw in the sofa. We love this sofa and expect to enjoy it for many years.

When we first received this couch, it had a strong new couch smell. We had hoped the smell would diminish over time but it's been about a year and it still smells. We contacted customer service regarding the smell and they sent out new cushions. Unfortunately, the new cushions did not help since the smell is in the foam core backing of the couch as well.
It is a great looking couch but we are disappointed overall because of the smell of the couch. We have other furniture pieces from Room & Board that we love. This couch does not seems up to their standards.

Not bad so far. Looks good. Sitting is comfortable but since it's only a few weeks old, I'm curious to how the seat cushions will hold up.

So far so good. Pieces have nice clean lines, fabric color is just right for our new paint. Small and large sofa backs are nice and firm but comfortable. Great arm rests that are functional as well as nicely designed. Very comfortable and supportive sofas. It seems like this is a great value, compared with other stores' couches we looked at. Service at the Denver store was helpful but not over-pressured. Norm was great taking our order, answering questions about the products, and setting up the process. A total class act.

Delivery process was totally great. We were contacted 10 days in advance to pick a day, and called three days ahead of time to get a two hour window for that day. Delivery guys called 20 minutes in advance. They brought the sofa,small sofa, and ottoman up 3 flights of stairs, unwrapped them, moved them into place, moved a couple of pieces back into place. Very friendly and professional delivery men!
All pieces were in excellent shape and no need to call about any issues, but we were told to not hesitate to call with any issues.

This sofa was purchased for a first condo after college. It's a transitional piece that can fit into any space. When I buy a home, it will go into the master bedroom or office or living room. Now it is my only piece of furniture. It also blends with any decor. It can be backed up against a wall. You can rest a cup of coffee on the arms. My guests sleep on it and say it's great.

Great service in the store, and wonderful delivery service. The 2 guys were polite, took off their shoes, and made it sure everything was right before they left. I used the national delivery system, and I still received the couch in 2 weeks! I ordered another piece of furniture on the same day, from [@] and am still waiting...2 months. If I did it again, I'd buy it all at Room and Board.

To answer your question on the cushion, yes on both accounts. The cushion covers do zip off and the foam and fiber cushions are covered with ticking. We love the Philadelphia area and it would be a great spot for a store.
