Customer comments about Chelsea 94" Sofa:
This sofa is pretty perfect. It's used as the main seating in our apartment ( along with the fabulous boden chair ). Keeps its shape and is very comfortable. Opted for the separate foot stool for flexibility.

Customer comments about Chelsea 66" Armless Sofa:
When we first started the odyssey that was our couch hunt my boyfriend and I where in perfect agreement that we wanted a modern couch, but when I happily proclaimed I wanted something nice and squishy that we could sink in to and he countered by saying he wanted a firm cushion our couch options narrowed to a slim Goldilocks zone. We must have sat on every modern couch in DC including every couch in Room & Board.
Then, it was couch love at first sight. I knew it was the one the second I spotted it from across the store. I said yes to the couch. But which configuration to choose? Arms, no-arms, ottoman, chaise, small , big, an intimidating number of options. We measured, drew diagrams, calculated prices, and debated pros and cons. Finally, we agreed on the armless option. I have to confess I was a little worried about the couch not having arms but for our limited space it was the only option that left room for the addition of a chair.
And now, siting in my living room on my wonderful couch I am happy to report that it is perfect. It is so clean looking, so comfortable to sit on (for both of us), and so perfect for our space that I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase.

Customer comments about Chelsea 66" Armless Sofa:
I didn't think I wanted an armless sofa because I was afraid it wouldn't be comfortable. I was wrong! We bought this because it fit our space perfectly and I thought it would be primarily guest seating. But I find myself sitting on it every morning with my coffee. It's very well made and comfortable. I've never been disappointed with the quality of the furniture from Room and Board.

Customer comments about Chelsea 94" Sofa:
i live in a tiny studio in manhattan. i bought the armless couch in cement - a grayish color. i love the way this couch feels. i don't like couches that you sink into. i love to watch tv on this couch. it is very supportive and firm and i love that! there was another reviewer who said she meditates on this couch and watches tv and can eat takeout with her boyfriend. i do exactly the same thing.
someday when i have a big house out in the burbs, i will get the whole set. my boyfriend got his couch from another store. mine is much more comfortable. if we could take his back and get this one instead for his apartment, i would do it in a heartbeat.
this is the perfect oouch for me.
i have a love affair with this couch!

Customer comments about Chelsea 66" Armless Sofa:
It's very sleek. I use it as a sectional with the 89" Chelsea sofa. The combination of the two gives us a lot of seating space without taking up a lot of room.

Customer comments about Chelsea 66" Armless Sofa:
We are using our loveseat in our living/bar room as we wanted something sizable but not as big as a couch. So far we think the seat looks fantastic and feels firm and cozy, though it has been only over a month since we have had it. It is adorable and fits two or three small people since we ordered the version without arms. The silver legs look great too. We ordered our seat in the "trip" color and it is a great neutral beige/tan. So far we are pleased and this was our first purchase from R&B, and we did it all online without ever seeing the chair in person.

Customer comments about Chelsea 66" Armless Sofa:
I have another, bigger Chelsea couch in another color and bought this one as an accent to it and for additional seating in my living room. I love it! It is so versatile and the fabric is very durable and yet attractive. I also love that it is made in the USA, not China.

Customer comments about Chelsea 94" Sofa:
We bought this along with the Chelsea left back sofa, to form a 2-pieced L-shaped sectional - the perfect size and a shape for our great room. The sofa looks great - sleek, taut, and minimalist. I love the styling and the fact that there are no cushions that come loose or misaligned or need straightening or fluffing. Everything stays neat. The two pieces connect very well - I would say seamlessly, but obviously there is a seam. But never any problems with them separating. Love the styling of the legs - nice modern stainless detail. And the ample top/back is great for resting a magazine (or your arm). The one thing this sofa isn't is super-comfy. It is how it looks - tight and stiff - you don't sink into it; you sit ON it. It's not uncomfortable - certainly comfy enough for a couple hours of TV viewing or chatting with friends - but it's NOT the kind of sofa you settle into and just don't want to get up from. I guess you could call it a couch potato deterrent. Hey, who isn't willing to sacrifice a little bit of their inner couch potato in the name of looking fabulous?

Customer comments about Chelsea 66" Armless Sofa:
This couch is comfortable and it seems like it is going to hold its shape for a very long time. i love, love, love it. many couches lose their shape, and start dipping. this one is very sturdy, durable. I can meditate comfortably on this couch. if i had a huge apartment i would buy all the other pieces but i have the couch without the arms. it has been perfect for me and my boyfriend to sit and watch tv, have take-out, and i can even sleep on it becauseit is wide enough for that.

My husband and i live on this couch, thats how comfortable it is. My decorator chose this couch for us and we couldn't be happier with the style and quality and thats why we're thinking about getting the armless sofa as well.
