This is a gorgeous chest and is very well made. However, when I bought it this piece was advertised as a media cabinet and is still listed as part of the media collection. Having just moved into a new home, I purchased it without measuring my media components. Big mistake. While this chest has cutouts for cables, the cabinet is too narrow to fit ANY of my components- DVD player, receiver, nothing. So now my DVD player is sitting on top of it and my receiver is still packed away while I figure out what to do. VERY disappointing. If the cabinet side had been made just a few centimeters wider, it would be perfect. It baffles me that a company as reputable that makes products as high quality as Room and Board would make this product this way and not warn people that a standard DVD player will not fit inside it!

I love this product. My only hesitation is around the nobs. I have made sure the screws are tight and one of them is still twisting. I don't want it to fail on me, but it feels precarious. Otherwise, I love it.

The dresser is absolutely gorgeous. I was not able to see it in person before buying and it exceeded all my expectations when delivered. It would be nice to have soft closing drawers--the drawer slides are similar to my 30 year old kitchen drawers. I'm not worried that they won't hold up, they just seem a bit out-dated. It would be a nice luxury for the price.
I was able to consolidate two smaller dressers and some items from the closet into the drawers. It provides plenty of storage for us.

The piece is beautiful and plenty of storage - so it really is wonderful and we love it. However, I give the low rating b/c it costs an arm and leg and we've only had it 1 year and the handle (little wooden numbs) are all falling off!
I have already had to use WOOD GLUE and meticulously glue 3 of them back on b/c they are so little and delicate. I should NOT have to do that...
RB, you should confirm the quality of your pieces before it gets to the customer especially since you are serving customers that look to you for quality and pay your premium for it.

What beautiful, solid, heirloom quality furniture! After searching for months and months for a suitable vintage midcentury bedroom set, and finding only over priced pieces often in questionable condition despite such pricing, we decided to go for new. We are very happy with our choice. The delivery process was very pleasant also....nicest delivery men ever! (Hi Wayne from Wisconsin!)
If I had one, small critique, it is that there is something I don't really LOVE about the drawer pulls. They are fine for the time being, and easily changed out to something different if need be.

After great worry that this immense piece would not fit up my narrow stairs, the fantastic delivery duo from Room & Board got it into the room and set it up for us. The wood is absolutely gorgeous and it holds a LOT of clothing. My only gripe is the insides of the drawers could be finished to a higher level (there is still sawdust in the drawers so make sure you clean them all out before you begin to fill it with clean clothing).
