Customer comments about Hudson 60w 28h Six-Drawer Dresser with Steel Base:
I bought the Hudson bed and night stands and love them, and went back to pick out my dresser, then discovered that the dressers don't fit my needs well. The short and long dresser that fits my space is awkwardly short (28") and the drawers are so shallow that I'm not sure I could stack more than two pair of jeans. I could go with the thinner and taller version of the dresser, but then there's the same problem with the drawers. I had hoped to find a custom solution, but the sizes there are equally awkward for a dresser: either 28" high or 50" high. If I want matching pieces and a functional dresser, I may have to consider returning the bed and night stands (sad). If only the drawers on the dressers were as deep as on the night stands!

Customer comments about Hudson 36w 28h Three-Drawer Chest with Steel Base:
It is a beautiful dresser, well construsted. The shell stain color is perfect and goes well with my cherry wood floors. However, the first two drawers (especially the first) are shallow. I have open shelving in my closet that I use for most of my clothes, so it's not really a problem, but I would have like to put more clothes in the dresser.

Customer comments about Hudson 36w 28h Three-Drawer Chest with Steel Base:
This is my first purchase from R&B and it was an excellent experience. The Hudson 3 drawer is very solid and well made. I was concerned that the drawers would not close properly and might wiggle and shift when pushing from one side but they are more solid than the ones in the showroom in the South Coast and only wiggle a little and not very often. It's not an issue at all. I am so pleased with this item, that I've ordered a matching one for the other side of my bed and also a custom Hudson armoire. The sales people in South Coast are very helpful, nice and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable with their products. So does customer service if you call. Room and Board is the best!

Customer comments about Hudson 36w 28h Three-Drawer Chest with Steel Base:
We purchased two of these to use as nightstands in our Master Bedroom and have been living with them for about 1-1/2 months. We paired them with a Linear Walnut 10 drawer dresser from Room and Board and couldn't be happier with the finished bedroom. We have been waiting 15 years to replace our original cherry furniture and are so excited to finally have Room and Board in Atlanta and to be close to having our bedroom finished. Looking forward to replacing the bedframe shortly!

Customer comments about Hudson 60w 28h Six-Drawer Dresser with Steel Base:
Got it in the grey color, and it looks so cool in person. Definitely great construction . Drawers are a bit shallow, but I expected that. TV sits atop and looks awesome -- it is a very sleek and sophisticated dresser. Painted it with the taller 6-drawer 20x20 dresser for more space. Very unique pieces, especially for a bedroom.

Customer comments about Hudson 60w 28h Six-Drawer Dresser with Steel Base:
I ordered this and the 2 drawer night stand. I love these pieces! Especially the color. I ordered the shell stain and it is perfect for my daughter's room. I found the typical white or espresso furniture so boring so I took a chance on the shell stain and I couldn't be happier! It is the perfect neutral... it literally looks great with every color. The quality is excellent and so far is holding up perfectly.

Customer comments about Hudson 72w 28h Six-Drawer Dresser with Steel Base:
Beautiful design and craftsmanship. We have 2 dressers in walnut: 72" wide and 36" wide, with stainless details - plus the king-sized storage bed. Beautiful grain, and really crisp design.
Drawers open and close perfectly for me. I can understand some reviewers concern that the drawers feel a bit lightweight, and they are light. But I don't think that's a negative reflection on quality. It's solid walnut and well constructed. There are alot of heavier dressers out there - esp the kind with laminate over pressboard - and they're nowhere near the quality.
Some drawers are pretty shallow, though. In the 72" those top drawers are barely deep enough to hold lingerie. All in all I'm very happy with the investment. I am sure we'll have these forever and the design is timeless.
We live in a mid-century home, and the bedrooms are pretty modestly sized. Even with a king sized bed, they use the space nicely and don't overwhelm the space.
If you're debating stainless vs natural steel, for what it's worth I mistakenly ordered a mix (R&B sent me new ones asap). The stainless is softly brushed, contemporary and higher contrast with the wood. The natural steel blends in with the wood very low contrast. My only complaint about the very wonderful Room&Board is that they don't send real wood samples and the color printed samples of wood and metal finishes are not accurate. I bought this all online (yay for the coming Seattle store!), and it was pretty unnerving to lay out that kind of money without seeing the finish of the wood. The very awesome customer service rep got an epiphany and sent me a walnut knob, which gave me, at least a directional idea of the color and finish. I was not disappointed. It's beautiful stuff, but if you're compulsive about colors and finishes (and I am), just know that the printed samples don't cut it.

Customer comments about Hudson 36w 28h Three-Drawer Chest with Steel Base:
We bought this piece with the two drawer nightstand and they are both used as nightstands for additional clothing storage. We have a very small bedroom and did not have room for a dresser or chest. The design is contemporary, the wood is beautiful and it ads elegance to our romantic bedroom.

Customer comments about Hudson 72w 34h Ten-Drawer Dresser with Steel Base:
We have shopped furniture all over the world. We have also bought from R&B many times over past decade.
Their products are great, almost at the best in world level, not quite, but then the finest dresser, as an example, is maybe 12,000 USD, so with R&B you get a fantastic product, nice design, but the prices are pretty reasonable.
Service is always good. Delivery prompt, always well done.
LIke as well that these are artisan built, they share with you the factory, the history, nice story line to go with the great products.
