The only problem with this night stand that goes with storage bed is
You can't easily get into the bed drawer at the head of the bed.

We love these bedside tables; they are so beautiful in the charcoal stain---between a brown and a black color--and the finish is smooth and matt, very sophisticated. The color goes very well with espresso, black and natural steel. We bought the natural steel platform bed, and the Nelson bench with black wooden legs to go with these tables in charcoal stain, and the effect is very serene and modern. My husband uses a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, and the bottom drawer stores his CPAP during the day while keeping it close for night time use, while the top drawers hold tissues, charging cords, medications, etc. These tables are the best of beauty and function.

I looked at a lot of side tables, I was looking for one with drawers. The surface is large and the drawers are substantial. Make sure you measure as it appeared in the photo, still fits and looks good.

The love this piece along with the others I purchased around the same time. I can see how people have mentioned the drawers being an issue. I believe the issue is really about how many handles are on the drawer in question. If you have a single handle like the one found on the nightstands it's not an issue. If you have a dresser with two handles (wider/heavier drawer) and you don't pull the drawer open by both handles I think this is where rails get kinked per other comments. I haven't had any issues with either my dresser or night stands per the knowledge above. On a side note I do wish the rails were a little beefier.

I really love the furniture from Room and Board. I bought the whole Hudson bedroom set. Unfortunately my night stand came with a dent in the side, and I didn't notice until the next day. I guess it's my fault for not doing a good inspection when it was delivered...but looking at that dent every morning, first thing when I wake up, is starting to make me go crazy. Walnut is a very hard wood this dent had to happen in shipping because I can't imagine how it could get that kind of dent unless it bumped into a wall and I haven't moved it since it arrived....I would recommend this furniture, but just check it really well before the delivery people leave.

Bought the nightstand as a bedroom set. No issues with nightstand but the Hudson bed with storage and 5 drawer dresser keep a close eye on them report any issues.

I looked for bedroom furniture for over 5 years! I had considered buying from Scandanavian Design amd other small retailers in San Francsico. I had to spend 20 minutes in Room and Board with my niece before I found the perfect pieces.

I wish I had gone bigger and that I had more room to add to my collection, it is what I have been looking for!
