I ordered the cherry wood frame to match my sideboard in the entryway. When it arrived it was much lighter, almost maple, but the sales rep informed me that the wood ages and gets darker. I have had the mirror 2 months now and the color is starting to change, which is a good thing. Overall i am very pleased with the touch of class that the mirror ads to my decor.

The mirror hangs above a danish modern bench and blends beautifully with the midcentury modern elements in our family room. It opens the room even more because so much light bounces off of it; I love it! I also am thrilled that my 17-year old AND my husband like it. It's definitely a statement piece.

I've been coveting this item for some time , having the perfect spot for it, but was hesitant due to its high price tag. It's kind of a lot of money for a mirror!I'm glad I finally bought it, it reflects beautifully across a lovely room in my home and it pleases me each time I look at it.As an afterthought, it would have been nice if room and board would have spared me the extra errand of running out to buy the proper hardware to hang it... Hence the 4 stars. I mean, really, for [$] , ya think theyd throw in a drywall mount and screw. You know?

the wire behind the mirror was a little loose so that when hung, you can see the hook when coming down my stairway. I d onot want to raise the mirror by bringing the wire up approx. 2" because it is just the right height now.
Could a special hook have been included to prevent this problem?
