I have spent countless hours analyzing and comparing the Metro, Dean, Ian, Hess, and Wells. Being 6'2" immediately makes buying a couch difficult and this was admittedly quite a painful experience. The Wells, while lovely in design, has a relatively short back. For sporadic use, I love the look of Wells. The Dean and Ian were both rather short on my legs and Dean was a little stiff. The Hess, while also great in design is too low for tall people. My knees were well above the couch cushion while seated and getting out of the couch is rather cumbersome. The Wells also appears to look very worn on the show room floor. For an everyday sofa we chose the Metro. It has a good height and deep seating for those of us taller folks. The pillows and cushions were upgraded in late 2012 and are noticeably better than the previous Metro sofa we had (bought in 2010). With that said, this sofa does require quite a bit of fluffing to make it look clean and contemporary. We bought the leather version (leisure) and it appears to be quite durable. Overall, we're pleased and this is a good compromise for a contemporary and comfortable sofa. I was able to watch 4 straight hours of Breaking Bad in this couch with extreme comfort!

We purchased this sofa in black about two years ago and it still looks great! It is used everyday & we still get compliments on the design and the feel of the leather. The only thing that I don't love is how the black leather shows dust.
