This custom 40x40" clear glass top coffee table in our family room is sheer perfection! Architect husband decided to rebuild our original 30 year old ranch style house into a contemporary home. This table is perfect with our floor model L-shaped couch from R&B. We intend to purchase more furnishings and will report accordingly. It is really beautiful! Delivery was also perfect!

My husband and I loved this coffee table when we first laid our eyes on it, but couldn't justify the price being newlyweds. We kept it on our minds and went back and finally bought it a year or so later. We went to the Torrance warehouse to pick-up the table, brought it home and unwrapped it with much excitement, only to find out that there are at least 2 dozen drill holes on the bottom of the table. The top of the surface is perfect, but underneath had so many little holes, it was strange.

So we called the sales rep and they wrote us back via email confirming that all of the tables come this way. They said, "..that all tops do come with some holes on the bottom per the vendor uses a wood bar called "support strap" along with bolts or nails to avoid the possible shrinkage or expansion of woods underneath of wood tops."

They offered to replace the table with a new table, but said we should expect the same issue with the next, so what's the point?!?

We love the furniture in this store and had high hopes to purchase more but we are very disappointed with spending that kind of money for a brand new product that's not in pristine condition. We're definitely turned off from buying here again.

Being able to specify a size is wonderful - I needed something larger and many of the coffee tables available were too small. Great lines, qualiy, and value is what makes Room & Board a 'go to' for furniture. The best delivery drivers!

This table is a very nice example of a beautifully designed and crafted steel and glass cocktail table. The height and sizing is perfect. It sits beautifully on the Room and Board Heriz rug in mocha. A great basic! This table can play to minimalist aesthetics or to add a modern edge to traditional settings.

We use the table in front of a 72" couch. Great for putting our feet up and a drink on. Looks neat. Easy to care for.

This is a great table that doesn't take over the room. If you order the clear glass top you should be aware that the holes in the base used to affix other types of tops will show, and they are unattractive. We covered ours with dots we made of aluminum foil and then put the plastic floaters on top as a disguise.

I love the form of this table and how the glass top seems to float on top of the base. My biggest criticism is that the metal pieces of the base are soldered in a very rough, unfinished fashion that clashes with the simple clean minimalist feel of the table. If you get this table I would recommend a solid top rather than a glass top. A Solid top would hide the rough solder job. Over the long term, this is a quality issue that I would urge room and board to fix. John
