We're using this in our playroom/guest room. It's perfect for young kids playing near - rounded, lightweight, sturdy, but also works well with a simple, clean, contemporary look that is working well as a night stand or side table when we use the sofa for movies, or as a pull-out for overnight guests.

I was looking for a table that was relatively high - 25" ended up working well beside club chairs with a 24" arm ht. Rounded shape takes the edge off a square room with boxy furniture. Very happy with these.

We have a square pair of these in our living room so when we needed something for the office, this was one of my first considerations. The round shape is perfect between the wall and a chair sat at an angle in the corner. Only objection to the Slim products are the somewhat apparent welds at the joins. Honestly though, it's not something you really notice when you live with the piece--what stands out are its clean lines and attractive proportions.
