Simply put: my wife and I couldn't be happier with the Ella Queen Bed. The construction is really solid - the simple steel construction ensures that there are no creaks and no movement. The bed also looks great- it adds texture and a warm, sophisticated feel to our bedroom, something that was lacking with our old bed. The headboard is really comfortable for sitting / reading in bed, which we have been doing a lot more since we purchased it. Delivery was fast, on-time and professional, as it has been with every R&B product I have purchased. Our only regret is that we wish we had bought the bed sooner.

Really love the bed. Only problem I had was that I live in an area where Room and Board uses a third party shipping company and they assembled the bed completely wrong. They had the bed legs on at an angle and didnt use the right screws, or the correct quantity to put it together. I had Room and Board replace the bed and this time I requested that the factory put on the legs. Turned out much better the second time around.

We chose the bed for the fact that it had metal matress supports, something we weren't seeing in like priced products, which also meant that if we sat on the bed, there was no creaking noise. We have had the bed for a montha dn we love the slightly angled headboard for reading in bed.

Love the lower height and minimalist look. Very sturdy bed. No squeaks at all, probably because of the steel construction. Because the slats are steel instead of wood, there is no bounce to the bed at all, which is a bit strange at first, if you're used to a boxspring & mattress. As others have said, the RNB mattress is a bit short for the bed; leaves a gap of about 2-3 inches at top or bottom of bed. Width is fine. I ordered a different color than the stock color, and it took about 5 weeks longer to deliver. Delivery service was excellent: on time and courteous. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Just a great bed that felt like a "fit" when we saw it. Staff member was so nice and helpful which made us feel great about the purchase. Love that it is simple and minimalist, but also because of that wish it was less expensive.

Still overall we are more than pleased with the bed as it serves all our needs and makes the room look better than it was.

Maybe the best delivery of a product experience I've ever had in my life. Delivery was on time and the delivery guys weren't just qualified, they were wonderfully nice people who make me thrilled to leave this review. Let's be honest...Most delivery people aren't that swift, but these two gentleman were superb. If you told me that they were also chief design executives at Room & Board I would have believed it.

Just a great great experience. I wish those were my perminent delivery guys.

The Ella bed is beautiful to look at and beautifully made. The grey color and texture of the fabric are lovely. I've had it for several months and it feels very sturdy and solid. I love the padded headboard, which is great for reading in bed. I find the angle very subtle. The bottoms of the legs have felt pads, so it's easy to slide the bed around to clean or reposition in the room without scratching my floors. I bought my mattress from Room + Board as well, so it fits the bed perfectly and is the best mattress I've ever owned. Overall I'm extremely happy with the quality of the Ella bed.
