After having the bed for a month, so far it is working out very well. Unlike some of the previous reviewers, I have not noticed a problem with the bed squeaking, and there is a cover for the drawers, so the contents have not gotten dusty. They must have made the gap between the headboard and platform much smaller since other reviewers bought the bed, because it's about 3 inches high on our bed, so not a problem at all as it's completely covered by the mattress.

I like the clean design, and the storage space is great -- we were able to fit the contents of four underbed containers into the drawers and still have space left over. However, as mentioned by other reviewers, don't put anything you will need to access often in the drawers closest to the headboard, unless you don't have nightstands.

The one design flaw in the bed, from my standpoint, is the knobs on the drawers. They stick out and get in the way, and they are also just fussy and detract from the overall clean design. I wish the designers had just put a channel / notch in the drawer front at the top so you could pull the drawers without having the knobs sticking out to bruise your shins.

We love the look and design of the bed. It did arrive with a small chip in one corner that we discovered after the delivery guys left and decided not to call about. We like the storage, but don't like the fact that we cannot use standard nightstands without blocking one drawer. Also, the bedding does get in the way of closing the drawer and has to be pushed out of the way.

Otherwise, great looking bed and seems well made. We have only had it about a month. We are having custom floating nightstands made to solve the nightstand problem.

The frame is about 2 inches bigger than our Simmons mattress in all directions. Not a big deal but a change from our previous platform frame which fit our mattress perfectly.

Beautiful quality and crafstmanship. We bought the Walnut with stainless knobs. I *love* the extra storage. We have a small bedroom and this makes all the difference. Something to think about when planning bedside tables: These drawers run the full length of the bed, both sides. If you use a traditional bedside table with 4 legs you won't be able to open the drawer closest to the head of the bed. Thankfully this occured to me before buying side tables. I purchased - elsewhere- 'C' shaped tables; each one is supported by one 'leg' that is set to the side of the base, allowing the drawers to open freely, which is working well. If I were handier I would have made a few deep, free-standing shelves to serve as end-tables instead.

I have no problems at all with squeaking or drawers or gaps. The bed came with a thin bunkie board - which I was not expecting (had already purchased one). So no gaps for dust or stuff at the sides. I also don't see any problems with gaps by the headboard. The bed floats a bit inside the frame - so there's a little bit of space on the sides, but the board fills those gaps, no big deal.

R&B customer service is awesome, and this was installed by the delivery guys, who were great, professional, friendly, awesome. I'm a fan. We also bought 2 dressers in the same collection and are equally pleased with the investment.

I like the simple design with good storage space underneath. The craftsmanship is also good for the money. However, there is a big design flaw that others have talked about before - there is a big gap between the headboard and the bed itself (at least for the storage bed version), so pillows fall into the gap easily and we'd have to fish out the pillows from behind the bed. I read about this in other reviews, but didn't understand the problem enough. I am surprised that after several reviewers raised the issue, the company has not modified the design to close the gap...
