I love the grey finish that we opted for on this piece. It's very clean and modern looking but still warms up the room. It is different that anything I've seen in the traditional wood tones, so that it what I love most about it. Plus the ability to customize everything is a major bonus.

Fits all components. Remotes operate through glass. Only down side is the drawers are not quite deep enough to store DVDs in a manner that you can see the spines and easily pick one out. Rather, they have to be stacked. A minor inconvenience though.

The color of the solid maple in charcoal is a lovely matte finish that seems very durable. I like the clean lines of the entire unit. The drawers are too shallow to stack CDs, but it's good for DVDs. The storage is otherwise great, with lots of room for all sort of things.

Although this is a beautiful piece and the woodwork is fantastic, the drawers' rollers stick with a few pieces of clothing and do not smoothly close and I am concerned they will break in a few months. However, Room and Board gladly agreed to exchange the item.

My husband and I both enjoy decorating and sometimes have a difficult time finding a piece that meets our separate needs and tastes. We looked for a media cabinet for a year or so, and were so pleased to find this piece which was love at first sight. The walnut is beautiful, the lines are simple and go with anything. I was originally planning to top the cabinet with a plant, books, vases etc.., but it is so beautiful that I have left it plain for now.

We liked the sleek design of this piece but the item we received had poorly fitting doors and a bowed lower exterior side.
Room and Board support immediately agreed to replace the unit, so I hope the new unit does not have the same defects.
