The small Hudson cabinet is beautifully made and very rich in color. I decided to return the cabinet due to it's being very shallow in depth, which would not allow for much storage in the drawers. It's only 12' deep and the drawers were only about 7' deep, so little could be placed in the drawers other than a paperback book or some socks!
The open cabinet area was very nice, but also a bit narrow in width due to the very large hinges on top and bottom. This might be a nice piece in a den or somewhere that storage space was not an issue.
I replaced the cabinet with a Hudson 3 drawer dresser, not to the bed, and it is fantastic. R&B made the return very easy and the delivery/pickup personnel were very professional.

We bought the console after an exhaustive search for something that would fit along a narrow wall under a hanging mirror that we did not want to move because of how difficult it was to install. The console fits perfectly and is very elegant. The drawers are great for storage, as are the shelves. The only downside is that the drawers close loudly.

Superb piece. I bought one upon release. It looks great, makes strong statement without bulk, and provides an enormous capacity for linens, candles, serviing utensils, candleholders and the like.

When I initially purchased the Hudson Console, I placed the piece in my entry way. The piece looks inviting placed below a mirror and topped a Gloss Table Lamp.
I love the Console so much that I want to buy another for my Master Bedroom!
