I looked around for the perfect dresser for years before finding this piece. Absolutely love the timeless style and loads of storage space. I purchased the unit in Shell which has a little more lavender in it than I was expecting. It was a bit surprising at first but within a day I got used to it. I would encourage anyone to first check out the various finishes in store before purchasing if you have that option.

Small quality issues in the construction and delivery process. First cabinet delivered had a pretty large chunk taken out of the corner, wasn't discovered until after the delivery. Wish it was caught sooner so I didn't need to waste a morning on the delivery.

Second item had a small quality issue where the roller catch on the door was loose, so one of the cabinet doors juts out slightly. Emailed customer service about it 10 and 5 days ago with no response either time. Guess I could call, but you think they'd answer their mail.

Also, though I knew this when buying, it would be nice if the drawers used soft close hardware.

A temporary move to a smaller space left us without the clothing and office storage we had in our previous residence. Since the MB in the new space had no room for a bureau or chest-of-drawers, this great piece of furniture was purchased to put in our small office space and serve multiple purposes. I loved the full extension drawers and easy access to all the space. We intend to use this in a bedroom or office when we finally re-locate. I have two suggestions to improve it for those of us in an aging populations. The knobs, while having a great look, are small, and the snug fit of the drawers make them difficult to pull out easily. I think the builder might find a knob with similar style but that make it easier to grasp for opening. The only other "con" was that the varnish used to finish the furniture smelled for several weeks requiring us to let it air-out before we could use it. The finish might have been more evenly completed, but it is a "gray wash" and overall, it still has a great look in our tiny office.

I love the walnut wood. I have an old house with old oak floors, yet the dark walnut and the clean, modern lines of this piece of furniture really complement my dining room.

We have this cabinet in our dining area in the charcoal stain and it is the first thing people see (along with our reclaimed wood parsons table from R&B as well). It looks stunning with the table. Aside from it's aesthetics, it is very sturdy, well crafted, and has high quality hinges, knobs and glass and wood shelves. We absolutely love it and are glad we took the chance to purchase it sight unseen! We knew the quality of products from Room and Board and were just hoping the risk would pay off. Luckily, it did, and then some. The only minor complaint would be that the doors are a little sticky, but I think that may be a by-product of it's newness. It's certainly not a bother, just something to note.

The communication regarding our furniture from warehouse to home was great. This is saying a lot since it came all the way from the mid-west to Seattle. The delivery men were courteous, helpful and sensitive to our need to have the cabinet moved a bit to find just the right spot. The only hiccough was the fact that the email from the delivery department was sent to my junk mail and I didn't know it until I called the department to find out an estimated time of delivery. They did their part to let me know it was coming, but unfortunately, I might have had delivery delayed a bit if I hadn't made a follow up call. Make sure to add the delivery email to your "safe list."
