The light came in the mail in good packaging. It was easy to assemble. The light output is perfect, given that it was a energy-saving bulb. The only two things I wish it could improve is the size of the lamp shade and the weight of the base. The shade is about 6 inch in diameter, and could be a little too big for a desk lamp. The base is a tag too light, so the lamp tip over when extended too far.
