We bought a new patio set with a fire pit in the center. We needed a stand
alone umbrella to protect people from the heat when it was necessary. Most umbrellas we looked at were shakey and not very stable. The base of this outdoor umbrella is concrete quarters that fit into the base----it is sturdy.
We always put the umbrella down when we are not using it so that it stays in good condition. Beautiful color. Designed well.
