I have a rooftop terrace on the fourth floor of my townhome. Was concerned about incurring the delivery charge and the chairs not fitting through the inside stairwell. Customer service had me measure and send pics. They pretty much assured me everything would be fine....and it was. These chairs are PERFECT. They are beautiful, comfortable and lightweight. Sitting cross legged in these chairs is super comfortable. I agree with a previous poster that it's more comfortable with a pillow to support the mid-back. Don't pass these up if you have a space for them. Form, function and beauty....what more can you ask for.

We purchased two of these chairs for our outdoor deck. They look great against the wood finishes, they're easy to move (despite their size) and they are comfortable. The seating area is very roomy though, so they really do need some sort of pillow or bolster to make them more comfortable for short to average size people.

Go for it. I bought a set of 4 for a conversation area near a patio viewpoint. I found that lower back cushions increased the comfort, so bought some with covers that repeated the colors in my Pacific Northwest garden. Guests ask about and gravitate toward these chairs.

We bought 2 of these chairs for a seating area on our pool patio to compliment our chaise loungers and they are great!
Well made, easy to clean, large and comfy and solid. Some folks may want a throw pillow just to soften or for back support. But for a chair to slump into with a drink in hand they are perfect.

These chairs are ideal for an outdoor space. Their solid construction and finish will ensure they last for years longer than most wood furniture items. They are also one of the few chairs I found from any retailer that are comfortable without a cushion. (I was trying to avoid the high-maintenance of outdoor cushions.)

I am petite (5'1), so the one cuation I offer other petite buyers is that without a pillow at my low back, the chair hits the back of my knees in an uncomfortable spot. But my average size and tall friends love these chairs!
