I have purchased Room and Board furniture almost exclusively over the last 15 years and this is the first product I have been dissappointed with. After 2 weeks they look cheap and have scratched up with very little use. In fact someone asked if I got them at [@] - not something I've heard about a R&B piece. Overpriced and definately not the quality I expect and have received in the past. If they hadn't scratched so badly I'd be returning them .. but now I've stuck with 2 of them which I can't show in my living room. Wish I'd stuck with my usual wood and natural steel choices...

I use this as my coffee table. Best idea I ever had. It's easy to push around the room but not light enough to where I have to worry about kicking it over at all. It looks absolutely phenomenal in my living room. Definitely the highlight. Only problem is that the top isn't completely flat, which can be a problem when I want to put cups on it.

Can the Gehry cube be used as an outdoor table, on which to place drinks/cups? One of the reviews mentioned the table is not completely flat. How does it hold up outdoors in rain?

Yes, the Gehry cube can be used outdoors and holds up very well in the rain. It does have a slight dip on the top. We would recommend using a tray to hold beverages on top of the cube. I hope this helps.Answered on 5/19/2013 by Design Associate from Room & Board
