Textiles made from alpaca wool have unique properties making them insulating without bulk, so these throws can be woven thin yet still give and retain warmth.

While a bit more than we wanted to pay, it's worth it. Comfy, yet very stylish on our awesome dray gray Hayes sectional. Our kids love the softness of this blanket too - it's their go-to for curling up with.

I had this throw on the sofa in my study. Then my husband grabbed it to drape over our new living room chair. (Our cats like it there too.) So I bought a second one for my study. My only criticism is that R&B doesn't have any other throws as attractive as this one.
