I am very disappointed with the Grove. I have had it a little under year and purchased it for occasional office use up in the event I work from home which is only a few ays a month. A month after purchasing the fold down desk would not close. I am not sure why but it was almost like it had expanded because it was too long to close, although, it is probably an issue with the hinges. I called Room and Board and they sent someone out to repair it but unfortunately it has not lated. The unit will not close again. I will be calling next week to complain again and would actually like to exchange for another item at this point. I don't think they should make me keep something that has been defective from the start.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture which hides a desk inside of it! I have it in my den, (which is limited in space) but it would fit perfectly in a living area or bedroom setting. I needed a place to work and did not want to go the traditional route with an oversized office desk. This piece holds a ton of files and my other office accessories. I love that I can work, then close the drawer and voila, a beautiful piece of furntiure is left to admire in the room. My only problem with the item was the knobs came off when I tried to open the drawers the second day I had the piece. I emailed the customer service and they were great (as always). They apologized and explained that the knobs were redesigned because of this flaw and I inadvertently received the old ones. R & B sent me a new set of knobs and the issue was remedied.

I have a small California house with an open floor plan, and it sits next to the entry hall.
It's a well-made product and very functional. I detest the fact that in some other R&B products you can find the screw holes, albeit generally hidden from view.
It's also beautiful. It's solid Walnut, and you can discern it.
Very pleased with this piece of furniture.

A beautiful and functional piece for my work office. Clients comment on how wonderful it looks in the space. I'm happy with the way I can organize all the things I need to be productive and then close the top section to keep the place looking neat!!!
