For the first couple months I had the rug, it shed quite a bit, leading to migrating grey dust-bunnies. But as far as dust bunnies go, they are pretty friendly ones. After 3/4 year and ten vacuumings, it is much improved. The rug, rather than a bare floor, is a good way to start a day, and the thick piles feel nice underfoot.

This rug looked great in the store and even better in my living room. We were worried because it was white, but it actually is pretty stain-resistant and doesn't dirty easily. It's soft to the touch and is comfortable to sit directly on.

Overall, it is a great looking rug and feels very nice. It was a bit expensive and I am starting to experience the shedding problem everyone else mentioned. It's not that the shedding is a huge deal, but it is happening more than I expected.

I purchased this rug because it was displayed under the Chelsea sofa I bought. It looked great in the store. The sofa was to be custom made and would take 2 months. The rug was delivered with other things about a month before the sofa came. We left the rug in the packaging until the sofa was delivered. When the guys came back, we unrolled the rug and it looked as if it had just been cut from a bigger piece, a scrap. It was really awful and the guys took it back with them and I saved some $1800. Credit hit my account right away. This is the only thing I didn't absolutely love!

this rug is beautiful. however they didn't tell us that it sheds worse than a persian cat. daily sweeping up "dust balls" from the rug. hope there's any rug left in a year. also - as with everything we ordered from R&B - it came in bad shape. many of the shag stems didn't have fabric on them. just exposed steams with glue. R&B really needs a new factory or better Quality Control

We love the look and feel of the rug. Unfortunately if you feel it too much, the fuzz sticks to your clothes like glue. If you have kids and they will be using the room where this rug is be prepared for clothes covered in fuzz from the rug shedding. On top of that, the surrounding area and even other floors of your house will begin to have a nice layer of fuzz coating the floor. This rug sheds sheds and sheds. Others have said this lessens over time...maybe when all the fibers have completely shed!! If you are using the rug in a room that isn't used as often or if you don't have children it's a great rug. But if any of the above applies to you, don't buy it! You'll be constantly vacuuming, clogging up your vacuum bag and pulling fuzz off your kids clothes. Ugh!

Delivery was excellent. We purchased the dark gray rug -- beautiful color that goes very well with furniture we also purchased at R&B. The rug is in our family room right off our kitchen and near our back door, so it gets quite a bit of traffic. Love it, but it is shedding some thin fuzzy clumps which hopefully will end after a few more vacuumings!

I purchased the slate color. Love the color and feel with bare feet. The only complaint is the edges of the rug look a bit unfinished and cheap which disappointed me considering the price of the rug. Not sure if you can use a vacuum directly on the rug, so I use the arm attachment to vacuum rug.
