The Burtons added the sytle and usefulness we needed in our family room. My husband was very happy when they were installed in our room. We use it against a far wall behind a sectional sofa and it balances the room while giving me places to store and decorate.

We purchased two bookcases to go on either side of a dark antique Chinese console/cabinet that we use to store our dvds in and on which we placed our flat screen TV on top. The bookcases fit PERFECTLY on either side...surprisingly, the glass shelves are very durable---they hold a large number of books...and, the bookcases are simple/sleek with the right depth, without taking away from the console's decorative doors. The only negative was that one of the glass shelves "wobbled"...so we placed a small round felt sticker on one corner...problem solved! We are pleased with our purchase.

It took 4 times to get shelves that were not broken and could be adjusted to be relatively level (unlike store where they shim it to make it look good). Not worth the money or my time.
