Beautiful table. It was exactly what I expected based on the photo online.
Service and delivery comments:
The coffee table looks great, but the delivery did not go very well. On the day prior to delivery, we were given a window of 2 pm to 6 pm by the driver. My husband stayed home to be available during this time. By 6 pm, when no one had arrived or phoned us, we called the driver, who then said he would be there at 6:45. So, we cancelled our dinner plans to be available at 6:45 pm. No one showed up again, and we weren't called until 8:30 pm, when the driver then said he "had other things going on" and would be there at 8:45 pm.
I can understand if a driver runs late, but it just isn't good service not to call, especially when he ran late twice. It messed up our plans for the day and then again for the evening, and it all could have been avoided had the driver called us to let us know.
The day after delivery I received an email from a room and board representative checking in to see how everything went. I wrote back promptly exactly what I stated above and never heard back from her. I am really surprised by the customer service level, as I truly expected more from Room and Board.

I bought this table as the principal piece for table top use with a circular sofa. It is absolutely beautiful in person. I was hesitant to purchase it at first because I thought the design appeared too contrived, but it surprised me with its sheer elegance and strong, yet understated appearance. Lovely balance in a prominent piece.

Very nice coffee table! Low to the ground, so has a modern look. The white glass is beautiful - very pretty and luminous.
But buyer beware: the white finish on the bottom scratches off quite easily, and the little rubber stoppers they use should be glued on really well. I tried to move it and the rubber stoppers came off and the bottom scratched easily on the base of the table. Room and Board replaced it with no problem. I really love the table, now that I know how to take proper care of it.
