We purchased the Hess ottoman to go with our Hess sofa to serve as a chaise most of the time but also to be used as additional seating for guests. We love that the ottoman is so functional for both, and two people can easily lounge on the sofa while putting their feet up on the ottoman. Very comfortable! We've had the sofa & ottoman for over a month and it was a bit hit at Christmas time! I reccommend scotch-guarding it to protect the fabric from stains, etc.
