We picked this sofa up at the [@] and it's better in our space than any of the other sofas I was considering. It's open arms/legs take up little visual space and the rectangular design echoes our large casement windows perfectly. The dark brown leather is very neutral and fits in nicely with my charcoal carpet, which I was concerned about. It's not a snugly couch, but that's clear from the photos. What's not clear from the photos is that it's comfortable and has a great light architectural presence at a great price.

The sofa and chair look great, but they are not very comfortable, especially the sofa. The seating is too deep. Chair and sofa have quite different seating feeling, with the chair being much better padded and comfy. The leather in the chair holds up without wrinkles, while the sofa's leather started wrinkling right away. The sofa definitely needs more padding. After less thanone year of having these I am already considering buying a new sofa!

I love these sofa's. We bought two 3 seaters and one one seater. They are very firm and great and long enough to lay on. Need pillow for head. It is not a lazy sofa that you disappear in but you rather stay upright and don't hang on it. Are rests are great for your cup of coffee. Leather is nice and supple but wonder since it is so supple, if it stays tight. Other than that, great customer service and well done on packaging for shipping. We had it come up on a barge to Alaska!

Really nice couches--we're quite happy. We absolutely ADORE the design! (Funny story: About 18 months ago, we sketched up a design for our couches and looked into having them custom made. The price was too high, though. This design is spookily close to our original design, and the price was right. We're thrilled!)
Only two small gripes:
1) the leather started wrinkling a bit within a few days after delivery (admittedly, these are our first-ever leather couches, so maybe that's normal?)
2) I'm a bit heavier than I should be, and it's not totally comfortable to lie on the couch--it's like the springs on the bottom cushion compress down as far as they'll go. I wish there was a bit more foam padding on the bottom.
One wish:
I wish that R&B would offer this couch in different--preferably even customizable--lengths. If we could have gotten one that was about a foot longer, that would have been perfect.
