This chair is superb for the price -- cute, comfortable, and very easy. It takes all of 2 minutes to put together, but note that the instructions for doing so are truly mediocre. (There are two sets of instructions, one from R&B, one from the manufacturer; the R&B ones are better, but still don't explain anything about the rubber supports for the chair, for example. And it would be better if it only came with one set of instructions.) But that's a minor complaint -- overall we're very happy with them.

Service and delivery comments:

We ordered four, and one came a bit dinged up on the side. But Room & Board was, as usual, fabulous -- they sent a replacement out the same day, and included a shipping label to return the damaged one after the new one arrived.

I saw these in the store and they were perfect - comfortable, looked as picured... The ones delivered were defective. One had a peeling surface - as though it originally was a different color and then was painted black. The seats were bent forward and uncomfortable. R&B was good about taking them back and i will order another style from them. I just did not have the patience to go through this - assemble, disassemble send back try again...

Wanted something cheap and colorful. Matched my blue/green couch, and was a great price when bundled with my other purchases. (saving on shipping)

Don't expect them to last forever, but they look good and they fit the small space of my studio apartment.

In the store, these were great. The ones shipped had problems (paint chipping, shape - back of chair bent forward). If you have the patience and energy to swap them out, ultimately you will be satisfied. R&B was easy to work with and they took them back.

A cute, comfortable little chair. We're using a pair, in combination with 2 stools, around the work table in our home office, used by 2 adults and 3 kids. After a couple of weeks, the screws holding the seat to the base have loosened on both chairs and it remains to be seen how often they will need tightening.

I have to say that it is uncomfortable to utilize this as a computer/office chair especially if you will be sitting in it for over 8hrs straight. I work at home, so I'm currently using this as my office chair while I look for the right & perfect one for me. Anyway, it is comfortable for dining while chatting & it looks great; perfect match to our walnut Portica dining table!

Delivery was nervewrecking because it was during XMas holidays. FedEx was suppose to come deliver on Friday evening, when I looked at the clock it was 9PM already, I, seriously thought FedEx was going to reschedule. I was not happy but door bell rang & it was FedEx with 8 of my Jake chairs! yay!
Product arrived in great condition & was easy to install.

I bought four of these chairs, in orange, for my kitchen table, and love them. They're fun, easy to clean and durable enough withstand use by two active boys. The orange adds a great splash of color against my kitchen's brown cupboards and wood floor. And such a great price!

I LOVE these chairs. I was worried about the comments regarding scratches from other reviewers, especially since I have a 3-year old and a 6-year old, but we have had no problems at all in the 3.5 weeks since we bought them. They are super cute, and soooo much easier to clean than what we had before. The color is just enough to brighten up the room, too (we bought 4 in the light blue). The only negative is that they are a little loud when they are scrapped across the floor, but really even that is no big deal. These chairs were a huge improvement to our kitchen.

These colorful chairs (orange, black, blue, green) have brightened up our large, white kitchen. We love them so much that we decided to paint the walls to match. Fantastic! Our kitchen is now everyone's favorite place to be.

These chairs are light weight but well constructed. And, best of all, they are easy to keep clean.
