The Eames molded chair is comfortable. They are around our oak kitchen dining table. Good casual choice to match the white cabinets with chrome handles. They are surprisingly low and yes we did sit in them at the store. We are able to lower out table still having difficulty getting the table/chair height relationship. Good to be able to buy something made in this country.

I've always loved these chairs and now I finally own 4! Great design, and surprisingly comfortable for my (rather large) rear end. The only thing that I'm getting used to is the backs aren't very high--comfort not an issue, but visually they are only 6-8 inches above the table--very different from my previous chairs. Everything from this era seems to be lower to the ground, just my observation. I found it funny that each chair came with a certificate of authenticity! Another nice surprise--the chairs in Aqua Sky are the exact same color as my new dishware. Very pretty color!

We own both the side chair and the arm chair versions of this classic Eames design, and love them. These chairs are sturdy, well-made and comfortable seating for either dining room or kitchen. There is a bit more flex to the back of the side chair...this extra 'give', when leaning back, takes some getting used to, but the chair is structurally sound and quite comfortable.

This design has been around for over half a century and is instantly recognized by everyone who visits. The range of 50's colors adds a sense of playfulness to the room. Couldn't be happier with our choice!

Great looking chairs. Not very comfortable after about 30 minutes. If you have small children, beware. If the child's feet don't touch the floor when they're seated, these chairs tip over very easily as the child gets on or off. Can't believe no one else has noted this.

I use the chair with a desk in the guest bedroom.
It goes well with the 50's style bedroom/desk set. Room and Board in Chicago was very helpful. Delivery on the chair was prompt. I am very happy with the chair and service.

This chair is very comfortable consider it doesnt have a cushion. It cradles you when seated. The clean lines of the legs and simple finish makes it a classic and balanced piece. Well worth the cost.

Never thought we would have contemporary furniture. But when we went that direction, I couldn't stop thinking about these chairs. They are so comfortable and clean looking, but not sterile. Happy!
