The Waikiki outdoor umbrella provides shade at any angle. The cantilevered design allows you to pivot the umbrella 90 degrees while the base remains stationary. Made from aluminum and durable Sunbrella® fabric in white, Waikiki requires base weights, which are sold separately.

This is good price for a poolside & outdoor living/dining area umbrella. It looks good too. Ours lasted 4 years in So Cal weather. Living in the canyons of Hollywood Hills our two umbrellas are buffeted by winds, morning coastal fog & dew, and constant sunlight. They held up well. Minor rusting. However they are not easy to keep clean and they do begin to make noise when opening/closing.. but we didn't care about that. Over time and with the wind, they have lost several screws. May need to think about purchasing new umbrellas. We looked at many stores and online before we bought these a few years ago. The price can't be beat (and the delivery guys were great)!

After a year the handle is all rusted and I live in an arid climate. Given its price, the handle should be made of stainless steel, after all the umbrella is used outside.

Given the cost (especially as the concrete blocks for the stand are extra) I expected better build quality and durability. After just one season the chrome on the unit is all rusted. The mechanism for raising and lowering is stiff and difficult to operate and it squeaks! The fabric has not survived the Winter well and has become a mildew trap. I can find no way to remove it for cleaning.
