Q:I am interested in either this table or the one that is not powder coated (natural steel). Can you compare 1) the finish -- for example, will the powder coated not scratch as easily, is it more shiny as opposed to the matte finish of the natural, and do you see the weld marks on the powder coated the way you do with the natural and 2) the color if I am thinking of the graphite powder coated? I have one of your slim tables in natural and it's great. thanks.Asked on 12/16/2013 by Amy from Boston
A:The powder-coated finish is more durable than the Natural Steel table. The color of the power-coat finish is very consistent, and you will not be able to see the natural variation in color you will see as a result of the oxidation process in the Natural Steel collection. This includes weld marks and “bluing”.Answered on 12/16/2013 by Design Associate from Room & Board
