Outlet Inventory Associate
Our Golden Valley Outlet is a weekend-only retail location and serves the purpose of selling our obsolete inventory. Our Outlet Associate role is focused on product movement to ensure the Outlet operates efficiently from both a product flow and customer experience point of view.
Our Outlet Associates unload product from semi-trucks onto the showroom floor and places the product in way that maximizes sales. They strategically price product to keep margin at or above plan while encouraging a quick sell-through of the furniture.
This role is heavily focused on inventory control. Our Outlet Associates identify inventory and receiving variances and communicate with Central Office and Delivery Center partners to streamline processes.
They also guide the weekend sales staff to ensure an efficient shopping experience for our weekend customers. They participate in the selection process for team members and train new staff members. They serve as a point person on weekends to resolve any customer issue that might arise.
To be successful in this role our Outlet Associate has a strong operational skill set and the ability to problem solve and resolve inventory discrepancies. They enjoy managing a team of part-time staff members and have the ability to make work fun in a fast paced setting.
This is a physically demanding role. Therefore, our Outlet Associates must complete a pre-employment physical. Our Outlet Associates work Monday through Thursday and every other weekend.
