Our Furniture Prep and Assembly Associates work within our Delivery Centers to pull, inspect, assemble and prepare furniture for the delivery team. They are responsible for ensuring Room & Board customers receive beautiful furniture, representative of the quality the customer saw in our showroom or online. Our Furniture Prep and Assembly Associates enjoy working with their hands and using a variety of small power tools to prepare and assemble the furniture.
To be successful in this role, Furniture Prep and Assembly Associates must be self-driven with a professional work ethic and enjoy working at an energized pace. They have an appreciation for solid woods and other natural materials and approach their work with a strong attention to detail.
Our Furniture Prep and Assembly Associates generally work early-morning hours with a Monday through Friday schedule. Some Saturday hours may be required.
An individual in the Furniture Prep and Assembly role is always moving, standing and bending and must be able to lift up to 65 pounds independently. Due to the physical nature of this role candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment physical to ensure they can work safely within the demands of the position.
Room & Board is an environment of inclusion.
