A blog on modern living

Sustainability is a choice we make each day to consider the big picture of how our designs impact the planet. This guiding principle is shared by one of our long-time partners Loll Designs, who craft some of our sustainable outdoor furniture. Loll Designs takes recycled plastic and re-purposes it into high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for use in furniture. HDPE is ideal for outdoor use because it is durable, non-porous and waterproof. Plus, it’s environmentally friendly. If you’d like to incorporate sustainable outdoor furniture into your space, check out these collections.

Emmet chair and ottoman

The Emmet chair and ottoman are a modern take on an enduring symbol of rustic American relaxation. Emmet features a stainless steel bottle opener under the arm for effortless outdoor entertaining.

Satellite coffee table

Shorter than a standard coffee table, Satellite pairs perfectly with the lower seats of outdoor lounge furniture. A curved apron detail and a beveled-edge top lends elegance to this simple and practical design. Pictured here with our Boyd ottomans.

Rayo sofa

Our Rayo sofa’s cushions have zippered covers for easy cleaning in your washing machine. With arms wide enough to hold a drink or act as a perch for party guests, Rayo’s modern design details make this sturdy, weather-resistant collection attractive from every angle.

Stash end table

Serve, sit or store with our Stash side table, perfect for the modern patio, desk or poolside. The removable top allows ample storage for tools, pool supplies or cold beverages. Simply replace the top and you have a side table or stool.

Laze chair

Uniting midcentury design and extreme durability, Laze is the perfect chair for your deck, patio or fireside. The 100% high-density recycled plastic and durable Sunbrella® fabric look great year after year.
