Our Kennewick collection has a mix of ribbed and striped matelassé patterns for a textural look in pure cotton. The soft fabric is woven, cut and sewn by experienced artisans at a family-owned textile company in Maine. From there, the fabric is sent to a Brooklyn dye house to be garment dyed in small batches, producing rich colors with a slight variation in tones. After a few trips through your washer, the colors even out and add modern appeal.
The history of this family-owned company based in Monmouth, Maine, dates back to the 1850s. The team who works there today has more than 350 years of combined textile experience and many have family ties to the business.
