Artisan-crafted in Brooklyn, these mugs were inspired by Mingei-style Japanese art and industrial design. Made using a unique technique developed by ceramicist Kevin Wilcoxson, slip-cast porcelain sheets are formed into cylinders while still pliable and carefully attached to the base. Overlapping edges are distinctive details that speak to how the pieces are formed. No two are exactly alike.
