For these monotype prints, Karen J. Revis inks plexiglas plates that are printed onto paper and pressed. Multiple plates are used to make one print—the layering bringing out a visual glow to the piece. Framed in a solid black frame, this is a limited edition of 75 giclees that are signed and numbered.
After graduating from Pratt Institute, attending numerous residencies and working with master printmakers, Karen J. Revis founded her studio in East Harlem. Karen has been showing her art in New York galleries for more than 15 years and is a member of the Black Artist Design Guild.
