Wife-and-husband team Kay and Bonjoon started Zungleboo in 2020 with the goal of creating sustainable dishware that was also durable and beautiful. In contrast with petroleum-based plastic, Zungleboo dishware requires far less energy and resources to produce since it is made from a bioplastic comprised of renewable plant-based resources like corn starch and bamboo.
