Change Makers for Boston Design Week
Thursday, April 4
6:00 to 8:30p.m.
About the Event
Join us for an evening of craftivism, the practice of engaged creativity for political change and social justice, as part of Boston Design Week 2019. Beth McLaughlin, Fuller Craft Museum’s Chief Curator and a leader in this global movement, will talk about the history of craftivism and its influence today. Her presentation will be followed by an affirmation stitching workshop where you can use your creativity to make the world a better place. Wine and appetizers will be provided to fuel your creative energy.
Room & Board is a proud sponsor of Boston Design Week 2019, which encourages the public to explore all aspects of design during its annual 12-day festival.
